Antwerp, Belgium – American Roll-on Roll-off Carrier (ARC) Group recently concluded operations at the Antwerp Euro Terminal in support of the 1/1 ABCT deployment which was executed under the All Ports Belgium Stevedoring & Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) Contract. The operation was conducted from the end of October through mid-December and included the discharge of two deep sea U.S. Flag Ro-Ro vessels and the loading of twenty-one trains, eight barges and four hundred trucks with more than 2100 pieces of military equipment destined for multiple exercise locations in Europe. “ARC successfully executed this extended mission during the height of the COVID pandemic with no infection cases reported. This is a real testament to the professionalism of the entire ARC team,” said Brian Rivera, Civilian Deputy to the Commander of the U.S. Army’s 598th Transportation Brigade.
