Narvik, Norway – The U.S.-flagged vessel M/V ARC Endeavor, operated by American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier (ARC), recently transported approximately 252 pieces of mixed military cargo from Charleston, South Carolina to Narvik, Norway in support of NATO Exercise Swift Response 25.

Led by U.S. Army Europe and Africa, Swift Response 25 is an annual multinational training exercise designed to enhance the rapid deployment capabilities of allied airborne forces in crisis situations. This exercise strengthens operational readiness and interoperability among participating nations, ensuring a coordinated response to global security challenges.

ARC’s participation underscores its unwavering commitment to delivering reliable and mission-critical sealift capacity for U.S. military operations worldwide.

“ARC is honored to support the U.S. Department of Defense and our allied partners through our participation in Exercise Swift Response 25,” said Chris Heibel, Chief Operating Officer of ARC. “The deployment of ARC Endeavor to the Port of Narvik exemplifies our dedication to strengthening global defense readiness through strategic sealift operations.”

M/V ARC Endeavor is a Large Car Truck Carrier (LCTC) measuring 755 feet in length, with a 21-foot-high stern opening and a stern ramp rated for cargo weighing up to 320 tons. The vessel can carry over 7,500 vehicles at once, making it one of the most capable and militarily useful vessels in the U.S.-flag commercial fleet.
