Experience:

Mark Vlaun is Senior Vice President and General Counsel at American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier, advising the CEO and Board of Directors on maritime and admiralty law, government contracting, trade policy, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He also leads ARC’s legislative and government engagement in Washington, D.C. A retired U.S. Coast Guard officer, Mark served as Captain of the Port and Officer in Charge of Marine Inspection in Jacksonville, General Counsel for the Coast Guard’s largest field office in Miami, and spent ten years at sea, including deployments as a salvage diver on a polar icebreaker and as captain of a seagoing buoy tender.
